The Second Phase of the 55th Reunion
was held at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Branson, Missouri.
Many of us checked in early.
Our rooms were ready, we left our bags so we had time do some sight-seeing around Branson.
Such as driving around and checking out the Titanic Museum which Mary Hammond Eberhardt and her husband Duane did.
The real fun began later this first day!
Howard Johnson's was a
Wonderful Place to Hold our Reunion!!
The area is very hilly, of course, as it is built on hills, (what isn’t in Branson?). Arrangements had been made for a block of rooms in Bldg. A which is across from the lobby and Continental Breakfast room.
The walk to the lobby and breakfast was easy.
Plus there was a cart shuttle for those who had difficulty walking.  Which were some of us.
There was an elevator at each end of the building by the soft drink, snack machines, and an ice machine.
If we needed to fill our small ice cooler, we took it to the front desk and they filled it for us.
Every room had a coffee and tea maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, Direct TV Satellite, electronic door locks.  What more could you want?
Our stay was comfortable.  It was perfect for us.
There were two computers and a printer for Internet use, at any time, in the lobby and there was wireless internet service available in each room.
RC (Bob) Wilson using the hotel's lobby computer to read his emails.
Looks like Bev and Shannon Jones are using their laptop checking and correcting last minute details.
As classmates and their spouses and guests arrived they were greeted by Carol Hamarstrom Jackson, Bev Jones, and Pat and Bob "RC" Wilson .
They were given a special packages for the Branson Phase of the Reunion.  These were prepared by RC and Pat Wilson
In addition to the folders RC and Pat also prepared name badges for everyone feturing the knight's crest
Everyone received a special Southeast pin or pendant made by Luann Mitchell Nelson.

Once everyone was checked in it was time for the fun to began.
To be in proper attire for our first dinner -- RC and Pat Wilson dressed for the occasion.
