Chit Chat
Here is something real sly, a surprise birthday party for a senior boy, Bob Wilson. Some surprise! Some of the couples seen there were Bill Honsinger and Diane Bussy, Jim Cassity and Pat Honsinger, Larry Tabor and Dianne Price, and of course Bob Wilson and Janet Sanders. All were said to have a good time. (Especially Bob.)

Why Bob is Called RC

when I was working in the Yard office at the UP. There were four Bob or Roberts on the same shift.

The Manager got tired of all four of us responding, so one day he got us together and went around - you're Bob, you're Robert, you are Jr. --- and I was given RC.

That stayed with me for the rest of the 42 years at the Railroad.

A 2010 MESSSAGE
In an April 19, 2010 Email from RC to Shannon

Well, Pat and I went to Branson for a couple of days.   Went to a couple of shows ........  the thing to remember is to not have seats in the first 3-4 rows and especially on the end seat.  They got me up on stage, put a big red cowboy hat on me and made me sing and do Y, M, C, A with them.

Pat got a couple pictures from the audience, but the best was the one they took and gave to me.  Here it is!

When the 60th Reunion was in the planning stage, Luann Mitchell Nelson contacted several classmates and asked if they might be interested in having a party in Branson, Missouri after the "official" reunion.

Luann called it a Farewell Party as this might very well be the last opportunity we will have to see each other again.

Nine classmates and seven spouses arrived in Branson on Sunday afternoon.  *

The Branson party was also called a Farewell Party.
No one knows what the future may hold for each of us.

At our age it is possible we will never see each other again.
We hope that is not the case.  But you never know.
